Mrs Bowe's Final Update of the Year...
18 July 2025
As the academic year draws to a close, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to each of you for your support and partnership throughout the year. Your involvement, whether it's through volunteering, attending school events, or simply ensuring your child is ready to learn each day, makes a profound difference to our school community. We've seen incredible growth and achievement from our pupils, and much of that success is a testament to the strong home-school partnership we share.
We're incredibly proud of what our children have accomplished, both academically and personally. They've demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and kindness, and it's been a privilege to be a part of this.
The end of the school year truly is a blend of mixed emotions for everyone involved – children, teachers, and yourselves as parents. There's a natural sadness that comes with saying goodbye…
For those children moving on to a new school phase, there's sadness at leaving behind familiar friends, teachers, and routines. We as a staff feel a pang of sadness as we say farewell to the children we’ve taught, guided, and watched grow throughout their primary years - strong bonds are formed, and it's hard to see them go.
This year we also say good bye to Mrs Stephenson, Mrs Jenkins, Miss Fyfe and Mrs Clark – we wish them the very best for their future adventures.
However, alongside the sadness, there's a sense of happiness and anticipation – we welcome new children and new members of staff, Miss Moore and Miss Martin.
It's this interplay of farewells and fresh starts that makes the end of the school year such a unique and memorable time. It's a period of reflection on achievements and growth, coupled with the hopeful anticipation of what lies ahead.
To our amazing staff, your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the children's well-being and learning have been truly inspiring. Thank you for everything you do, day in and day out.
To the parents and guardians of our children, your partnership is invaluable. Thank you for your support, your trust, and for being such an integral part of our school community.
I wish you all a safe, relaxing, and happy summer break. Cherish this time with family and friends.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back, refreshed and ready for another exciting year of learning and growth, on Wednesday 3rd September 2025.
